The former doctor was sentenced to 278 years in prison after being accused by some 35 women have committed sexual crimes in their assisted reproduction clinic in Sao Paulo.

At the time he claimed that his patients were having hallucinations brought on by an anesthetic. Roger Abdelmassih (which had revoked the professional record) came to be caught between August and December 2009 but was released after receiving habeas corpus by the Supreme Court (STF).

O Jornal Folha de São Paulo publicou nota ontem informando que o doutor Roger Abdelmassih pode ter fugido do Brasil, para o Líbano, utilizando um passaporte falso.

O ex-médico estava em liberdade devido a um habeas-corpus expedido pelo Superior Tribunal Federal.

Abdelmassih foi acusado por 35 pacientes por abusos sexuais enquanto era suas clientes numa clínica de fertilização artificial. Foi sentenciado a 278 anos de prisão. Se está no Líbano poderá escapar da prisão, pois os dois países não mantém um tratado de extradição.
